Great video, sounds great! This is my first distortion pedal from 1987! With my first 'real' job bussing tables, my ma said I could spend my first check on whatever I wanted, then all the other paychecks were going in the bank to buy a car (I got to use my tips however I wanted). First payday, I bought a Rocktek Distorion (pink) and a Rocktek Flanger (purple)! I liked the sound a bunch, but I got greedy and traded the Distortion for a DOD FX57, cuz it had a built in delay. That pedal didn't have enough sizzle, and the delay was more of a doubler (yes, it's the "Judas Priest pedal"). I scrambled and traded it for a DOD ThrashMaster, which sounded great for...mastering thrash. The knobs were useless, it was pedal to the metal, literally. I ended up with a ProCo TurboRat which I still have and use decades later. I'm watching this vid, so I'm thinking of grabbing another Rocktek Distortion pedal to relive my misspent youth. I traded the Flanger for a Rocktek Delay, which I still have and use today (RIP Boon).
